The picture below shows - "Back side of thatch is knotted and can be cut to size without unravelling"
Life expectancy is 2 years outdoors. Can but trimmed to size. One side has a 12" fringe. You can easily attach this with cable ties or with twine to a frame from the bottom. To attach to a plywood roof from the top use a staple gun and apply the staples over the thatch between the knots.
